The Rain Harvesting WDPW110 First Flush Diverter Kit is purpose-built for wall or post-mounted installations, making it ideal for small residential systems, sheds, or outbuildings. This compact yet effective diverter removes the initial dirty runoff from your roof before it enters your tank, significantly improving water quality with a sleek, space-saving design.

A high volume first flush diverter, designed specifically for mounting on a wall or any vertical structure. The unique manifold design uses standard 100mm or 4 in. pipe to create a high capacity storage and diversion chamber for your first flush. Using these smaller pipe sizes makes it easier to source pipe and assemble the system, when compared to using large diameter pipe on traditional high volume diverters.

Commercial screened rain heads prevent leaves and debris from blocking downspouts and entering your rainwater tank. Rain heads are ideally installed on each downpipe as they protect the building and improve your tank's water quality. 6 inch (150 mm) outlet size.

The 3" First Flush Device (WDS99) is a vital component of any rainwater harvesting system, designed to divert the first runoff from your roof, which typically contains the highest concentration of dirt, dust, bird droppings, and debris. By isolating this “first flush,” the device protects your tank water quality and reduces sediment buildup.

This diverter is installed at the bottom of a standard 3” vertical downpipe (pipe supplied by others). As rain begins to fall, the device fills with the initial dirty water. Once full, cleaner water is allowed to continue into the storage tank. The unit can be manually flushed as needed between rain events.

Downspout First Flush Water Diverters improve water quality and reduce tank/cistern maintenance by preventing the first flush of water, which may contain roof contaminants, from entering the tank/cistern. They help ensure cleaner water is available for use, which protects rainwater pumps and internal household appliances such as clothes washing machines, toilets, hot water systems, etc.

Downspout First Flush Diverters, such as the 3" kits, are installed at each downspout that supplies water to the tank/cistern. They utilize a dependable ball and seat system - a simple automatic system that does not rely on mechanical parts or manual intervention. As the water level rises in the diverter chamber, the ball floats, and once the chamber is full, the ball rests on a seat inside the diverter chamber preventing any further water entering the diverter. The subsequent flow of water is then automatically directed along the pipe system to the tank/cistern. This kit does not include the 3" pipe.
